Habit
Impressive large shrub, sometimes tree, 3-5 (7) m tall, 3-4 m wide; stem vertically upright, twigs reaching out far, usually arching, fast-growing

Large, white corymbs, June, plentiful
Leaves
Semi-evergreen, rarely evergreen; large, leathery, pointedly elliptical, pale green with red mid-vein; bronze in winter
Fruits
Large, bright red in countless syncarpy, from September on, twigs sometimes pulled to the ground by the weight of the fruit, the most beautiful Cotoneaster fruit shrub
Demands
Tolerant of heat, sensitive to frost, only splendid in temperate or protected areas
