At last - the IPM trade fair again

In January 2023 it is finally time again! We are looking forward to the International Plant Fair IPM in Essen.

"Courage to Big Trees"

We often ask ourselves why cities, municipalities and even some landscape architects usually decide for small trees. Certainly, every tree counts; however large trees do so infinitely much more for the environment and against climate change. Moreover: big trees are easier to take care of!

The crown of a large tree already reached a certain height. So the trees no longer grow so easily into the roadway. This reduces the maintenance cost for the municipality. In addition, trees which are “trained” in the tree nursery have very compact root balls and thus are well prepared for transplanting - they will grow better.
Large trees whose crows were already trained in the nursery are then much more sturdy. They can withstand vandalism and rushing trucks much better than smaller trees.
