The fascination of plants – trees and shrubs for the future!
The best plant compendium from the Lorenz von Ehren nursery
You’ve never seen it like this before! A complete revision of the established trees and shrubs catalogue, in terms of format, graphics and content! The 6th edition of the Lorenz von Ehren plant catalogue cannot be compared to those that came before: it’s even more extensive, more clearly structured and has even more, improved images! The compendium will be obtainable directly from the Lorenz von Ehren nursery, as usual.
A book incomparable in every respect! The time invested in development and conception has paid off – of this, Bernhard von Ehren, managing partner of the Lorenz von Ehren nursery, is already certain.
The “von Ehren Kompendium” appears in a new, square format with over 1000 pages and more than 2500 illustrations, including large, informative photos, completely revised, and also sustainable, since no prices are printed in it. These can be referenced at any time by means of QR codes which take you to the company’s website www.lve-baumschule.com, where they are updated as required, making new printouts redundant in the future.
The most significant changes in content:
• Perennials chapter: 100 perennials with a focus on insect-friendly and wild perennials
• Deciduous trees chapter: supplemented by more than 100 new genera, species and varieties
• Roses chapter: complete reorientation with focus on wild roses and insect-friendly roses
• A new “Hydrangeas” chapter
• Topiary chapter: new ordering by shape
Naturally, the Lorenz von Ehren nursery has also revised its planning tools. “We see ourselves not only as a company that sells woody plants, but also as one that attaches great importance to providing our customers with good advice and comprehensive tips on the plant,” says Bernhard von Ehren regarding the radical updating of the directly applicable, useful information in the “von Ehren Kompendium”.
• Inclusion of a chapter on bee-attracting shrubs
• Adaptation of all planning tools to the new range of products
• Revision and expansion of professional tips to include notes on follow-up care
• Adaptation of “Urban trees of the future” to the current recommendations of GALK and the BdB
• Incorporation of new size comparisons
