Malus 'Evereste'
Wie wäre es mit einer blühenden und fruchtenden Hecke? Hier kommt die Gattung Malus ins Spiel. Die Gehölze lassen sich sehr gut schneiden und als schmale Blütenhecken in jeden Garten integrieren. Malus ‘Evereste’ beeindruckt mit einer überaus reichen, duftenden Blüte und sehr gesundem Laub. Seine Blüten erscheinen fast zweifarbig, die Knospen karminrosa und die offenen Blüten weiß mit rosa Streifen. Im Herbst haften die gelborangefarbenen bis roten und bis zu 2,5 cm dicken Früchte sehr lange am Baum und bieten einen hübschen, leuchtenden Winterschmuck in der grauen Novembertristesse. Ein regelmäßiger Schnitt sorgt für dicht verzweigte Hecken, die ein sicheres Zuhause für viele Vogelarten bieten. Zieräpfel mögen vollsonnige Standorte und stellen keine besonderen Bodenansprüche, nur durchlässig sollte er sein./p>
