Habit
Unique, medium-size tree, 10-15 (20) m tall, 4-6 m wide; conical; branches horizontal to arching upward, the meter-long lateral twigs hanging loosely, some dragging on the ground; slow-growing, 10-15 cm a year

Regularly fresh to moist; acidic to slightly alkaline, likes all well-drained, sandy-gravelly, somewhat nutritious substrates, slow growth on heavy soil. Native
