If you want to snack delicious pears, you no longer have to rummage around in your neighbour's garden. Even though this tree is so old, it still bears the most delicious fruit. However, we like its habit even more than its juicy pears. The blossoms adorn the tree like a white dress. A wonderful sight – and one of a kind!
Requirements: Pears prefer a dry, warm climate in sunny locations. They like to grow in nutrient-rich, deep, dry to fresh soil without waterlogging in the slightly acidic to alkaline range. If the pear is grafted onto quince, it does not like it to be quite so calcareous.
