Large shrub, 3-4 m tall and wide; densely bushy upright; fast-growing
Blossom
Large, loose and slender, upright panicles with slender, tube-shaped individual flowers, buds intense dark crimson-red, purple when open; end of May clearly after the garden lilacs; strong scent of privet

Elliptical, pale green; autumn colours not significant
