Tsuga canadensis Unikat

If there is enough space, the Canadian hemlock is just the right tree. Sprawling and gracefully overhanging, the branches lean towards the ground as if they were trying to hide something precious. Whether powdered in snow or in lush summer green, this tree attracts everyone's attention. The bark of the tree is a striking red colour and contrasts beautifully with the needles. It tolerates sunny to semi-shady locations.
