Habit
A mat-like semi-shrub, 0.2-0.3 m tall to 0.5 m wide; shoots thin, extended, taking root on contact with the ground; slow-growing

Purple-blue, first flowers at the end of April to May, then second blossoms into September

Note
Very sensitive to compacted soil, sensitive to walking. Where used as a groundcover fallen leaves tend to disappear underneath the foliage of Vinca, so do not generally need clearing.
